How to Make a Schedule and Stick To It So That You Can Enjoy Family Time
….while growing your wedding business.
It’s a lot to ask for its’t it? But to much is asked, much is given, right?
First thing you need to do is prioritize your to-do list, in your business and personal life. If you need some pointers on that, check this blog out over here.
3 Steps To a Schedule That You Can Stick To!
Having realistic expectations. The worst thing we can do is to underestimate the time needed and overestimate our efforts. Our hearts are in the right places. We want to believe we are super woman, but that is usually only on occasion, and not as a general rule.
Do not put more than 3 action items on your schedule on a daily basis. That goes for home, personal, work, or your wedding business. Do not overwhelm yourself. Busy is not the same as productive! You will feel more accomplished if you do all 3 things on your list, instead of if you get to only 3 things on a 10-item list. Amiright?
Adjust your schedule daily. This thing is not etched in stone. You may not be in control of your 9-5 expectations, or family needs, but you are in complete control of how you run your business. Review your schedule daily and make necessary tweeks. If you have extra tasks for the kids at home one day, then schedule light that day for your business. Make your schedule work for you, not the other way around.
