The Recap of Implement Live

The Recap of Implement Live

Last year I joined a yearlong mastermind and education program, called Freshly Implemented, hosted by Amber McCue. It also included a live workshop, which I love because I am here for the in real life interaction. I enjoyed it so much last year that I told myself if I hit my revenue goal I would treat myself be going this year.

I’m on the move!

So this January I got on a plane and flew to Los Angeles. I was super nervous because none of the girls I connected with last year were able to come to this year’s event. But thankfully for the Facebook group, I was able to connect with another attendee, Katrina, that was arriving around the same time. She had a rental car and graciously offered to give me a ride to our hotel. This was a little funny because she was driving (in the evening) on those crazy LA streets and I was the navigator. After a few shouts and laughs, we made it to the hotel.

The Workshop

The workshop, Implement Live, was Thursday and Friday. It was a good mix of Amber sharing and teaching about her various businesses, guest speakers, masterminding and breakout sessions. To really go into what we covered in these 2 days would take much longer than a blog, LOL. We really dove deep. But I will say that I did use that time to implement changes on my makeup website and with my makeup offerings. My take home focus for my coaching business is to work on my visibility. One of my favorite speakers (aside from Amber) was Kelsey Chapman. She is an Instagram growth strategist and gave some really simple, but impactful tips.

Connections

Remember I said I was “here for the in real life interactions?” Well I got it, and in a large way. Not only did I get to talk to my mentor IRL but I met and connected with so many amazing ladies. We all have different businesses, but we don’t mind helping and supporting each other. There was Danielle, the walking hug as I called her, Mariah, who was so similar to me it was funny, Hailey, who I have followed for years virtually and was able to break bread with, Sarah, who had the perfect idea for everyone, and Kellie, who is my business kindred spirit! I am so thankful to have met these lovely women. But The icing on the cake was being able to finally meet my long-time biz buddy, Elise, from 2016, in person! We were in the area for 2 totally different things and she was able to meet up with me before I flew back home.

Do you want that?

You know, having the in-person connection is great, but you can get those same connections virtually too. Would you like to be in a group with like-minded business owners that are willing to support, challenge and help you grow your wedding biz? I host a free mastermind group, THRIVE for Wedding Pros. I’d love to see you there!
